Fellowship hall

FSBC Tuba City wants to build a new fellowship hall. Anyone available to take charge of that task. Need drawings and then start building if they have the funds.

Wake up time

With AzBaptBuilders and AzDRRebuilders on the same mailing list,  the list is 90+ men and women who at one time or another have expressed a desire to participate.  The past six months have seen 5 or 6 calls for assistance. With all those folks and all those calls I would expect at least half of the list to respond to one or more of those calls.  The same six people have responded along the way to better than half of these calls.  What's up, folks?

On the good side we are now in a position we can assist with at least fuel costs for callouts.  If that is your problem say so.

Builders will be moving trailers and containers in the fall. We will need a bunch of help including a CDL. driver, 8 tires on appropriate rims,  and many workers willing to serve.Bring a friend.

First Baptist Church Tuba City

FBC Tuba City had major flooding last year. Large crack (8" or bigger) in basement of parsonage. Dave and Doug will be viewing options there on Friday, 7 June, around 1230 res time.  Once a decision is made as to direction here, a crew leader and crew will be needed to take on the work.

Chinle Memorial Baptist Church

We had a great three days in Chinle. We were treated to the best fry bread on the reservation.  Work was tough and tedious, but we got the big pieces done.

Now we need folks to go in and trim the floor we put down, set the heater vents in place, work on heaters, and in general just help fix the place up. There is also a patch of floor in the entry and front bath that needs doing.

Chinle

Memorial Baptist Church in Chinle is in need of lots of work.  Needed is a crew of 1-10 to get it done.  Materials on site.  Bunk in building. Food and transportation on crew members.   Must be complete 5 June.  Let me know if you are available.

Dates up to crew. Lots of 1 person jobs could be done in a day or two.

Moenkopi

More workers are needed for the Moenkopi roofing job 4-6 April. (See post below)

You will be required to cover meals. Housing and maybe some transport costs will be provided.

Transportation from Flagstaff and southern Apache County may be available for car pooling.

We need at least six more workers.

Current plans are to arrive the evening of the 3rd and be ready to work early on the 4th, leaving when done on the 6th.  If you cannot make all three days, we can still use you. YOU are important to the completion of this job.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES

1.  Moenkopi - one more roof. 8 workers.  Roofing and dry wall.  + misc household repairs.  4-6 April

2.  Chinle - Memorial Baptist Church.  Tile flooring, painting, roof and eave repairs. 10 workers and 1 specialist in wall heaters. TBA.

3. Move materials to new storage place for Baptist Builders.  0800 14 March. Avondale. All the help we can get.
